Additional Platform Commitments
I've been holding back some of my more ambitious platform commitments until I'd fully costed them out. I'm pleased to share that the numbers work.
Third River Crossing. Rather than break the bank building a third bridge, I'm proposing a fleet of amphibious vehicles. They'll be painted like frogs, because we're getting them used from Harbour Hopper Inc.
Landscaping. As the city's mowing equipment ages out of service, I'll be advocating for replacement with a fleet of roaming goats: economical and practically emissions-free.
Public Transit. Transit users are tired of touring the city just to go a few blocks. I'm proposing a multi-pub system, where each hub is located at a local craft brewery. Ridership projections are strong.
Traffic Safety. A dedicated roundabout education centre, mandatory for residents. This initiative needs no explanation.
Downtown Investment. We're going to transform Kings Place by installing a rollercoaster on the roof and rebranding it the West Frederonton Mall.
Happy April 1st.
