Brief Bio
Kelly has lived in Ward 10 since she moved to Fredericton more than 25 years ago. She holds a B.Sc. from McMaster University and an LL.B. from UNB. For nearly 20 years, she has served on the board of Liberty Lane, including 10 as president — expanding affordable housing and services for people affected by domestic violence. She is currently serving her fourth elected term on the board of Cycling Canada, where she is board Secretary and chairs the national insurance committee. She has worked in risk policy for a major bank and supported a provincial consultation on domestic violence strategies for the New Brunswick government. In 2022, she completed the Canadian Olympic Committee governance certification through the Smith School of Business at Queen's. In her spare time, you can usually find her on the trails, on a bike, or in a canoe.
