Affordable Housing & Homelessness

I have served as president of the board of directors of Fredericton’s Liberty Lane for the past 10 years. In that position I expanded services and affordable housing for individuals affected by domestic violence, overseeing a building project and a capital campaign.

If elected, I would support council in taking a leadership role in collaborations with governments, non-profits, and private sector partners to support affordable housing and homelessness initiatives, as well as complementary elements such as mental health and addictions support. I would support the development of tools to incentivise affordable housing. I would support continuation of the work of groups such as the Affordable Housing Committee and Community Action Group on Homelessness.
