In a complex environment with multiple stakeholders and few simple solutions, we will be successful by applying the right tools and approach. We need a long-term strategy and broad engagement. We need to grow and strengthen partnerships with communities, non-profits, private sector, and all levels of government. We need transparency and accountability and attention to detail. We need people who will engage constructively and with an open mind, ask the right questions, listen to all sides, and distill that into sound decisions that move us forward.

If elected to council, I commit to operating on those principles and to working to implement policy measures to commit us to them.
